My Mum's Cuisin @ Paragon

This place is called My Mum's Cuisine at Paragon. It serves typically Singaporean food such as laksa, char kuay tiao, chicken rice, beef hor fun etc. You can also order dishes like zi char stalls. Price is in the $7 - $10 range.

Chendol $3.50. Portion is not very big but it taste not that bad.


FYI, the above food pics was taken with my Fujifilm Z2 for the first time in like 1 yr.... Its been long since I brought it out so decided to pay it a little compliment today. The compact cam that got me started 2 years ago...."Dont let your fingers touch the lens!!" -Its been a while since u last heard that hasnt it?-

Thick Toast with Butter and Condensed Milk - $2.30If Xing Wang's thick toast is big, this is even BIGGER. Its about 1 1/4 times the size of my handphone. But the spread of butter is too thick for my liking.


Tea with milk(hot) - $1.50Iced Yuan Yang - $2.00


One-bite Chicken Drumstick - $5.90


Overall, I feel the portion given is quite large for an acceptable price.

This place is at Toa Payoh Industrial Estate just beside the SPH building. Its the same place as where Botak Jones Toa Payoh is. The queue for Botak Jones was too long so we decided to try this. I think this place sells pasta at affordable price and decent portion. Cheaper than pastamania in my opinion.





Aglio Oglio with prawns I asked to be added myself. $7 ($5 without prawns).



Buongustaio: Chicken, mushroom, onion in cream sauce. $6

Bakerzin. I feel that they have very nice menus. Of all the restaurants I went, I think Bakerzin has the best menus.
